Safe Use of Energy

The electricity is the safest energy form, however it must be carefully used. For a safe use of electricity both indoors and outdoors, it is necessary to observe the following safety instructions:

Safety Instructions indoors:
• Unplug the small electrical appliances after use.
• Do not keep nor use the electrical appliances near water sources. If the appliance falls into water during use, do not try to remove it, but unplug it.
• When unplugging the appliance, grab the connector and not the cable. Check the cables to be intact; if they are burnt are broken, they must be replaced.
• Do not pass the electricity cables around heat sources or under doors where they can be burnt or broken.
• Do not connect more electrical appliances in a single plug.
• Make sure you know where the safety board is placed in your home and that each electrical circuit has distinctly marked safety which can be closed immediately if necessary.
• Check the electricity requirements of each appliance before purchase.

Safety Instructions Outdoors:
• Do not cut by yourself the trees that are near electricity pylons. Always call authorized persons to do this.
• Do not use electrical appliances if your hands or feet are wet or if the soil is wet.
• If you do construction works that require digging, make sure there are no electrical cables underground.
• Do not let children climb trees or fly kites near electricity pylons.
• Do not touch cables fallen on the ground. If you find fallen cables call immediately the no. (area code)+929.
