Electricity tariffs companies

Controlled tariffs for electricity supplied by default suppliers and suppliers of last resort for captive consumers, others than household customers or assimilated as household customer were approved by Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) through 103/30.12.2009 Order.

Active energy tariffs are classified as follows:

The types of tariffs applied for active energy are classified as follows:

According to the invoiced measurements:

• Monomial tariffs: B, D, E1,E2
• Binomial tariffs: A, A33, C

According to the differentiation on hourly intervals:

• Simple tariffs: D, C
• Differentiated tariffs: A, A33, B, E1, E2,

According to the duration of the maxim power usage:

• A33 short period of maximum power usage
• A33 average period of maximum power usage
• A33 long period of maximum power usage

According to the voltage level:

• o High voltage tariffs (220kV) - A33
• o High voltage tariffs (110kV and above): all aforementioned types
• o Medium voltage tariffs: all aforementioned types
• o Low voltage tariffs: all aforementioned types

For reactive energy, the tariff applied is monomial on voltage levels.
